Quadient to Showcase its Biggest Lockers Yet at Retail’s Big Show, NRF 2023

Quadient (Euronext Paris: QDT), a leader in helping businesses create meaningful customer connections through digital and physical channels, will be showcasing its new Parcel Pending by Quadient Oversize Lockers and highlighting its Smart Locker Network at NRF 2023: Retail’s Big Show from January 15-17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The event attracts thousands of global professionals in the retail industry for educational sessions and exhibitions of the latest industry innovations.

Visitors to Quadient’s booth (No. 330) will see the company’s automated Smart Locker Solutions, including the recently launched Parcel Pending by Quadient Oversize Lockers, purpose built for retailers and distributors who need to fulfill orders with extra-large and oversize goods. Parcel Pending by Quadient advanced and automated parcel locker systems allow retailers and carriers to reduce logistical costs and lower their carbon footprint while meeting consumer demand for same-day delivery and convenient returns.

According to the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) “Consumer Returns in the Retail Industry 2022” report, more than 26% of total U.S. retail industry sales in 2022 were made online. The return rate in 2022 was 16.5%, totaling more than $816 billion in returns. Managing returns is one of the biggest challenges retailers face today, according to the report.
