Chelmsford Star Co-op Partners with Quadient to Launch Parcel Locker Solutions in Food Stores

Chelmsford Star Co-op is excited to announce a new partnership with Quadient, a global leader in parcel locker solutions. As part of our ongoing ‘More than Just a Shop’ campaign, this collaboration will expand the range of services available in our convenience stores, encouraging customers to utilise our locations for more than just their daily shopping needs.

Today marks a significant milestone with the planned installation of the first Parcel Pending By Quadient Locker at our newly refurbished store on Bridge Street, Writtle. This location, known for its high footfall and ample parking, is ideally suited for a parcel locker, and is just the beginning of our rollout across the Society’s estate.

Quadient, a leading provider of innovative locker automation solutions, will play a pivotal role in this initiative. The introduction of these multicarrier parcel lockers is a key component of our strategy to offer enhanced convenience and a broader range of services, including parcel collection, lottery, and PayPoint, to our customers and members.
